Pearl Restaurant

     The Pearl is located on the Ocean Front in Kill Devil Hills North Carolina.  The restaurant specializes in local ingredients with a French twist.  Being the only remaining true ocean front location on the Outer Banks, the Pearl is a popular destination for locals and visitors.  The cuisine has strong French influence with an emphasis on ingredients from local farms and waters.

Tucked away in the Historic Sea Ranch Hotel , guests are delighted to discover this hidden gem with its outstanding ocean views and tranquil, beautiful ambiance.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and has regular live entertainment.  The location is the perfect setting for weddings on the beach, receptions, large family gatherings and especially the perfect dinner for two.

We are often asked why we named our restaurant the Pearl.  Once you visit us we hope the answer is somewhat obvious.

We are tucked away, almost hidden in the shell like surrounding of a historic hotel made of concrete and brick.  Once you enter, we hope you feel that you have discovered something rare, something special and beautiful, like the ocean gem.

Our ambiance mirrors our cuisine, it is classic French, cultivated  and passed on over many years of teaching and learning.  We have a deep respect for fresh and natural ingredients that come from local waters and nearby farms.  You will learn more about our philosophy on food by viewing the Chef section of this website.
