Where Lou and I have been

Well all it is Lou and I. If you are wondering why we have not been blogging in awhile, it is because our Dad is non-technical savvy and broke the blog. Not only did he break our blog, he broke the whole thing. He wonders why Lou and I have taken a little interest in the trashcan lately.  What are two dogs supposed to do when everyone is at work? Usually, Lou and I spend the days typing up our blog entries. (In our opinion, someone needs to make a more paw friendly keyboard.)  Since we have not been able to blog, we need to entertain ourselves other ways. We found something that is much better than blogging but does get us in trouble. The trash buffet, for those unschooled in the finer things in life, it does not get better than a nice full trash can.  All those yummy flavors run together and create the tastiest smorgasboard. Sorry sometimes I get carried away talking about food. It’s just all those wonderful flavors of the world to be tried and such little time. We are really looking forward to some nicer weather. Though we love the winter, we are ready to go swimming. We hate having to go to the beach and just look at the ocean. Fetch is fun but nothing beats a quick dunk in the warm salty ocean. Enough of our dreaming right now, the weather is cold and we are stuck inside on this Monday morning while our parents work.

So keep your ears tuned and noses to the ground.

A fine day at the beach

Our dad was off today and the temperature was in the 50’s so we walked down to the beach for a game of ball. What beats throwing a tennis ball on a beach in February? In my opinion, nothing. Well, Lou and I are off to take a nap now…

So keep your ears tuned and noses to the ground.

Sammy the Surf Dog Get Well Soon

Couple of Outer Banks DogsHey all it’s Lou and I again. Well our parents finally got wireless internet. You would think technology had passed them by we waited so long. Lou and I only have a wireless laptop so it was forever waitin for them to get it set up. Actually it was 8 months which to us seems like 56 months or over 4 1/2 years. I mean what do they think we do all day while they are at work. Enough of that we need to address a serious subject.
We just found out that a fellow canine, who has a long running blog was hit by a car. Like I said we have been without the internet. Though after reading his blog we realized what had happened. We wish Sammy the best and hope he has a quick recover. No one likes to miss a day at the beach. No matter what you think a day playing catch and running on the beach beats anything. That’s what you humans need to realize, sometimes it takes doing nothing to realize how wonderful it is. Man a little salt and sand goes a long way and trust you Lou and I know. We moved here from the big city. Let us tell you it smells much better here. I know we get off topic but hey 8 months of nothing to do all day.
Back on topic. Why do you people drink and drive? We are absolutely amazed by the stupidity of the alleged superior species. Without us losing topic on other issues of why your not superior. Can 1 person please explain what leads humans to drink all that foul smelling swill then try and get in a car? Lou and I just wonder. Our parents drink but they come home smelling funny in a car with a name on top.
Look Lou and I wanna again wish Sammy the best maybe we’ll see you on the beach sometime. Humans remember swillin and drivin don’t work. Until we feel like writing again.
So keep your ears tuned and your noses to the ground.”

Why do people leave poop?

Outer Banks Beach DogI have one question for all you two leggers out there. Why do you let us poop where you walk and leave it there? It is the most absurd thing I think you humans do. We can smell the poop. We like the smell. We don’t step in it. We always hear those four letter words, when you step in a pile of it. Why not save yourselves the hassle and pick it up? If you had a sense of smell like me, you would realize there are much better things to smell. I hope you don’t care what the other dogs of the world had for dinner. To be honest, I really don’t care about it but if you leave it there, I might as well smell it. So who knows why you all do it?  Maybe just laziness… what do I know? So keep your ears tuned and your noses to the ground.
