This past Saturday, November 22, Roanoke Island Festival Park celebrated the
25th Anniversary Commemoration of the christening and launching of the

like one that would have brought the colonists to Roanoke Island in 1587.
Local restaurants participated in a chowder cook-off, while festivities and
live music entertained the Park’s visitors. To visit the Elizabeth II, and
receive a tour from a period-costumed guide, admission is included as part
of your visit Roanoke Island Festival Park. Admission to the park is for two

promotion, “Friends of Elizabeth II,” includes season passes for unlimited
visits during the calendar year, free admission to scheduled programs,
invitations to events, a subscription to their newsletter Festival Fare, a
Museum Store discount and more. For more information, call (252) 475-1500.
