First, you need to determine how many people  you are going to vacation with.  Is it just two of you or is the whole family coming?  Maybe it's a family reunion and there are 50 of you renting a vacation home.  Maybe you're looking for a home to hold a wedding or special event?  Once you know the size of your group, you can continue with deciding on the number of bedrooms.

     Bedrooms and their setup determine a large part of how many people a home sleeps.  You sleep more in a pyramid bunk than in a King.  How important are the bedrooms in your vacation search?  Are the bedrooms merely a place for everyone to lay their head after a long day in the sun or are you looking for all master bedrooms for their increased privacy?  Does each bedroom need a private deck or will everyone be spending time on the main one?  The number of bedrooms is going to be the biggest thing you pay for with your Vacation Rentals.  So plan to spend accordingly.

     The next important factor to consider is bathrooms.   How many are you going to need after a long day on the beach?  Is everyone going to need their own? Determining how many people can use one bathroom can only be figured out by looking at your group.  Are you a bunch of beach bums or more along the lines of "high maintenance."
