Golfing in the Summer

Playing a round in the summer can be a challenge. Summer days in the Outer Banks can be hot. Try and get tee time early or late in the day. If at all possible stay out of the mid day sun. If you gotta play in the middle of the day, be sure to drink plenty of fluids.

Golfing in the Fall, Winter and Spring

If you are looking for the best price on a round then look for the off-season specials. Often it is possible to find discounted rounds in the off-season. The closer you get to winter the better the discounts. Some courses offer a $20 round with cart in the off-season. With a little effort you can find a partial week vacation rental and discounted rounds of golf.
